Is Virtual Console where you play previous Nintendo console games on the Wii or something? That sounds good. Superior video/graphics capabilities, should be good.

Absolutely, the Virtual Console is the component on the Wii which lets you purchase/play old games from their library.
It's a shame that SquareEnix aren't going to release Chrono Trigger on the VC now that it's coming out on the DS.. On the other hand, stranger things have happened.
